Kings Of Thrash – the band that includes Megadeth alumni David Ellefson, Chris Poland, and Jeff Younger alongside vocalist Chaz Leon and drummer Fred Aching (Useless Groove, BulletBoys) – is again with a thrashing good time within the type a brand new single referred to as “Lockdown”. The only comes alongside a music video directed by Aching and his Useless Groove bandmate Holly West.
“Lockdown” is what Younger describes as “a cool mixture of 80s thrash and punk vibes, plus 4 guitar solos (!!!) We had lots of enjoyable bringing this track to life!” Which is tough to argue with after you have heard the track like, as soon as whole.
Ellefson added: “‘Lockdown’ captures the true spirit of old-fashioned thrash metallic, with a lyric that may be seen as well timed on this chaotic world we now reside in.”
There’s extra Kings of Thrash on the best way, too, as they have fun the 30th anniversary of Megadeth‘s Youthanasia and different thrash classics. Catch the band on tour at one of many dates under, and keep in mind – stretch earlier than you headbang recklessly. Neck accidents suck.
